BizRights is a platform for automating controls, continuous testing, and monitoring across the enterprise. Primarily meant for IT staff, auditors and business process owners, the goal was to make the user interface of the product intuitive to business users rather than developers.
Key responsibilities and accomplishments.
1. Evangelizing user-centered design within the organisation to promote the involvement of user experience designers and the end-users into the upper-management and developer dominated requirements generation process.
2. Arrange frequent exchange of information between the UX team and other teams within the organisation to enable the UX designers to participate in the business and technological discussions within the organisation.
3. Taking the requirements generated with this new system, to create a new information architecture and task flows, and present these through proof-of-concept prototypes for communication to higher management and developers.
4. Follow-up with development managers to negotiate integration of new UI features within the release cycle.
5. Support UI development by designing interactions, page flows, controls, icons and other visual elements.
6. Make UX a part of R&D activities by creating a small separate team of designers and developers to conceptualise and prototype user experience solutions for future releases of the product.
